Phone was out of battery & left laptop at home so I kind of neglected posting what I accomplished at the end of class, but I read 3 chapters of Theory of Poker by David Sklansky, which mostly consisted of when and when not to use deception and how to use it. These chapters also covered general situations in which it its advantageous to bet immediately to secure the pot or advantageous to wait and let the pot build up before you raise.
